Aracne Bacino
sketchfab
For the third pair of arms joined to the pelvis, here printed in 3D, we sought to recreate the cavity into which the joint and femur head enter. Working with symmetrical duplicates of the ilium, I developed two additional surfaces, inside which two clones of the glenoid cavities are placed, where the humeral heads insert. The cavity of these wings, given their purpose, naturally turns out to be smaller compared to the acetabula that accommodate the femoral heads.
