AR15 Receiver Engraving Jig

AR-15 Lower Engraving Jig Mounting holes are spaced 3 inches apart vertically. The lower is secured using two #10 screws, one through the mag-release button hole and the other through the fire selector lever hole. Two #10 nuts on the jig's underside capture the screws and lower for retention. Use a plastic washer to prevent marring the lower. Design and print your own jig with a 3D printer. Screws will need to be 41mm long, depending on hole and washer thickness. Cut some to length or use washers to compensate for extra thread. Washers are included for each mounting screw to fit around mating surfaces. DXF files of flat areas for engraving on the lower are provided as an aid for designing engravings. See Pyrex238's remix for detailed information, as this was created from his work with a modified mounting pattern and mirrored design for engraving the opposite side. 17Jan21 - Step files added, along with 80% compatible ones using #8 screws in takedown pin holes. These new files should work, but their length and nut fitment have not been verified.
