AR111/QR111 adaptor for MR16 lights
prusaprinters

This is an adaptor ring which I created to mount MR16 LED lights into an luminaire which would normally use AR111 lights.

I my case I wanted to fit specific tunable-white LED spots from ConstaLED into an “Ronka” luminaire from Arcchio.

I printed them with the front-facing side on the printbed and supports on the printbed.

After printing sanded the fronts, primed and spray-painted them. Afterwards I added a matte clear finish.

Products I used were: (no specific preference, I just wanted to try the Edding products)

Primer

Laquer

Finish

There are different versions which I iterated later to come closer to the look of the retrofit 230V LEDs that came with the luminaire.

The “with bevel” versions have a 45 degree chamfer on the front face to opitcally separate the front face from the retaining ring.
