AR Stocks
thingiverse
This stock is based on the stock that came with a S&W M&P 1522 but should fit most other models. It is still a work in progress. Once I get a prototype printed I plan to see if i can get a button head cap screw to work in place of the original pin and will try to source a generic spring. 7/13/21 - I didn't like how the texturing came out on the back of the stock. I enlarged the pyramids from 1x1x1 to 3x3x3 7/14/21 - I tightened up the inside dimensions to remove some slop around the buffer tube. If you need assembly instructions you can watch my video on youtube or odyssee Odysee (@thegreatbackyards) https://odysee.com/ar15collapsiblestock:3907b92bc5e7cb29057221c5be7218738f3de0e7 youtube (@Anthony Weidner) https://youtu.be/zwR0AThU1ho 1/6/22 - As requested, I added an M16 style stock. This is still a work in progress and has not been tested yet. I tried to get the hole locations and sizes as close to reference part I had. The stock angles and taper aren't accurate to the original part but it looks decent on the computer. Right now I only have a solid butt plate designed, I intend to make another one with an access door in the future 1/10/22 - I added 3 files for the fixed stock (holeybutt, buttdoor, buttlatch). These are for the fixed stock. It allows you to access the internal storage space without tool. The only additional hardware you will need is a spring for the latch. I have not tested this part yet so I cannot give exact dimensions on the spring yet but it should work with 2 options. the OD of the latch is 4.5mm, you could slide a spring over it to hold the latch closed. There's also a hole inside the latch that is 3mm in diameter, so you could slide a 2.5mm spring inside of the latch.
With this file you will be able to print AR Stocks with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on AR Stocks.
