AR Rover Robot DualCam 4WD i5NUC
thingiverse
This project relies on ARToolkit5, which is successfully deployed on Ubuntu 18.04. The four-wheel drive chassis is expertly managed by an ATMEGA 2560 microcontroller and a high-performance 4 DC Motor Shield, both of which are connected to a robust 30000mA laptop battery that operates at a maximum voltage of 19Volts and a maximum current of 4.5A. Two advanced Microsoft Life Cams HD5000 cameras are securely connected to an i5NUC via USB3.0 ports. The i5NUC is efficiently operated in a headless mode using a custom Ubuntu 18.04 boot configuration. The rover can then be seamlessly connected to a VNC wireless desktop environment through the use of a reliable VNC-client program.
