AR Folding Brass Catcher
thingiverse
Update: The brass catcher has undergone a significant upgrade to be significantly stronger. I rigorously tested it with a full bag of brass and gave the hinge a vigorous shake, whereupon it did not break (printed in PETG). You will need to reprint all components. I employed velcro on my bag to facilitate easy removal of the bag from the catcher if required. This is a folding brass catcher designed for my AR-15 to easily catch brass while also folding out of the way to allow quick access to the chamber. You will require sewing a custom bag with a zipper (ask your partner) and attaching it to the main body. I created mine using old jeans. View images. Video of it in action: No bag, just deflecting: https://youtu.be/0hPzRxmyeCE Updated catcher: https://youtu.be/zdleJsonmSA (old brass catcher): https://youtu.be/kZgplp6PvoY Print the following: + 1 x Main Body + 1 x Rail Body + 1 x Rail Lock Hardware Required: + #8 -2 1/4" bolt + 2 x #8 Nuts
