Ar Drone 1.0 Frame remix

Ar Drone 1.0 Frame remix

thingiverse

I decided to breathe new life into an old parrot AR drone 1.0 that had been collecting dust, so I could share it with my 10-year-old daughter and watch her eyes light up as she played around with it. I stumbled upon a file on Thingiverse that sparked my creativity, and I completely remixed it to make it my own. The original design had the bottom plate facing in the wrong direction, and the camera mount was a bit too thin, so I took matters into my own hands and re-drew everything from scratch using CAD software. I added a battery holder to the top mount for convenience. To assemble this upgraded drone, you'll need two 3mm x 25mm screws and two 3mm by 30mm screws. The smaller screws secure the bottom frame to the cross-member center, while the longer screws attach the top piece in place.
