AR Buffer Tube Battery Holder
thingiverse
Battery holder that attaches to the carbine style buffer for your AR Pistol/Other instead of a stock or brace. It holds popular CR123A, CR2, CR2032 and CR1632 batteries for your Red Dot Sights, flashlights, and other accessories. Use duct tape to secure the batteries. Battery holder accessory does not extend past the rear of the buffer tube and is designed to not add additional rear surface area and is not to be shouldered. It is not a stock. If used correctly, it should be compliant with the new rules, but who knows. IANAL, so do your own research to see if this is OK for you to use. Use the small LOP limiter on the last hole of your buffer tube to prevent you from being able to mount this so that it extends past the end of the buffer tube and have you run afoul of the new rules. Use a 8x1.25 x 12mm set screw to secure it in place. The battery holder should go on so that the screw is towards the back of the buffer tube. This object was made in Tinkercad.
