Human: Full assembled model of AR-180 and 5,56mm NATO bullet. Model is ideal for weapon mechanic animation, games, and visual education applications. Notification: If you need a low-poly model, contact me here or at 27608166@mail.ru. The AR-180 is designed for semi-automatic fire only. Externally, it closely resembles the AR-18 with one key difference; the selector has just two positions, excluding the third AUTO position found on the AR-18. Minor variations exist between the variants; to engage FIRE on Howa rifles, the selector lever must be pivoted 180 degrees from SAFE so it points forward towards the muzzle (where AUTO would be on a selective-fire rifle), while on Sterling rifles, the SEMI position is identical to that of a selective-fire rifle; 90 degrees from SAFE with the selector lever pointing down. As AR-180 production neared its end at ArmaLite's Costa Mesa shop in 1972, some unused AR-18 lowers were repurposed for assembling AR-180s. The SEMI and AUTO positions were removed, and the AUTO position was relabeled FIRE. The selector lever on these specific rifles would require a 180-degree pivot from SAFE to FIRE, similar to Howa-manufactured rifles.
