Ar-15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace
thingiverse
I decided to take on the challenge of making my own custom braces after struggling to find ones that met my expectations online. Feel free to share your thoughts, ideas, and critiques - I'd be more than happy to incorporate them into this project. This is a work in progress, but I'm confident it has the potential to become a reliable stabilizing brace for pistols. However, please note that it hasn't received official ATF approval yet, so use caution when handling it. For now, it's intended for rifles over 16 inches or airsoft/paintball guns only. Don't blame me if you run into issues - misuse this file at your own risk. This brace was specifically designed to fit a milspec carbine buffer tube without requiring any additional parts or complicated assembly. It simply slips onto the end of the tube, providing a snug friction fit on mine (although Cerakote may have added some extra thickness). If you experience any issues with fitment, there's a hole at the bottom where you can attach a paracord or bungee line to secure it to a QD or buffer sling end plate. Be smart about using this file - it's not foolproof, and I'm eager to hear your feedback. If anyone decides to print this out, please take a minute to post a picture or leave a comment with your thoughts. Your input is invaluable in helping me refine this design.
