AR-15 Magazine Loading Spoon
thingiverse
A redesigned plastic version of an AR-15 stripper spoon is showcased here, intended to replace the easily lost or damaged metal counterpart. The 3D printed model was created by taking measurements from multiple real spoons and adding extra strength. This plastic spoon functions just like its metal predecessor, assisting in loading 10-round stripper clips into AR-15 STANAG magazines. To use it, grip the magazine firmly, place the spoon on top securely, insert a stripper into the small slot, lift the first round perpendicular to the clip using leverage, and press down while maintaining force. Remove the stripper and spoon after each load. Version 2 of this design has slightly adjusted dimensions for improved functionality over version 1, which was initially untested. A recommended print setting is 50% infil with one shell.
