Case-Deflector for an AR-15 Type Rifle: Shooting ranges can be frustrating, especially when someone next to you is firing a semi-automatic rifle and brass is spraying everywhere. You might need to reload, but finding deformed casings scattered across the room is a nightmare. The solution is a case-deflector designed to mount on your AR-15 type rifle. Case-Diffusion: Unlike other solutions that block your view or cause malfunctions, this one lets you check your chamber from behind your rifle while doing a press check or showing an empty chamber at gun ranges. Malfunctions like stovepipes can be easily cleared. When it comes to ejection, the angle of ejected brass is altered to 90° in front of and downwards from the rifle. This results in two key benefits: - While shooting prone or from a bench, casings land about 20cm to the right of your rifle on the bench, piling up beside you without much force when using a soft-covered bench. - When standing, casings land approximately 1-1.5m to the right of your gun with an downward angle and not enough force to annoy shooting neighbors. Mounting: The deflector is mounted on the top picatinny rail, positioned in front of the ejection port to avoid interfering with optics like scopes or red dots. The mounting system consists of two parts printed separately from the deflector body. Two screws clamp these parts onto the rail, while two other screws connect the mount to the main body. Easy Print: The part is split into a main body and a mount, both of which can be printed without support. Rugged: The main body is designed to withstand long shooting sessions, with spare ejection bodies easily replaceable by unscrewing the old part and installing a new one without removing the rifle's mount.
