Protect your bolt carrier group by keeping it in a case when transporting firearms outside of transport cases. This method works well for shooters who like to keep their BCGs lubricated and don't want to make a mess inside bags, losing all lube off the BCG. Made to fit a Mil-Spec BCG exactly without being too snug, so the BCG won't get stuck. I use this because I have a 22LR Conversion Kit. When changing calibers, I need to swap out my BCG. I don't want my BCG lying around anywhere at the range after swapping.
