The AR-10 rifle has undergone significant modifications from its original form. Its primary difference lies in the caliber it fires, replacing the standard .223/5.56 cartridge with a more powerful .308 round. This change enables the AR-10 to excel at long-range shooting scenarios. Its primary use is for hunting large game species.
