AR-10 Speedloader 308 7.62x51 13round
thingiverse
Not impressed with any of the existing 308/7.62x51 loaders, I took matters into my own hands and designed one from scratch. I began by using a staggered stack design to keep it compact, but soon realized it wouldn't work as each round pushes the next against the wall. It might function for about five rounds, but the force required grows exponentially with every additional round. Advantages over other loaders (and I mean just two) are numerous: The fit is tighter on your magazine. Positive engagement: a small lever holds the mag in place. It can handle more than ten rounds; it fits thirteen to fourteen. That's over half of your twenty-five-round PMags out there. Custom lengths are available upon request. Please note that the mag retainer isn't strong enough to hold the mag while loading rounds into it, but it will retain the mag while loading the loader. Don't even think about trying it; they'll scatter everywhere. Trust me, I've been there already. If you want to tweak it or something, step files are available for download. SolidWorks files can be requested if needed.
