The 27-meter-long section of the Aqüeducte del Gaià is meticulously documented, showcasing perfectly preserved lateral walls made of caementicium that form the canal or specus. The internal plastering is done using hydraulic mortar, while the floor is covered with opus signinum; in some areas, a portion of the vault that would have covered the canal remains intact. Timeline: The Roman Aqüeducte del Gaià, which supplied water to the city of Tarraco, was built in the 1st century AD.
