Aqueon 6g Frameless Cube Aquarium Edge

Edge for Aqueon 6g Cube Frameless aquarium......because I didn't like the glue and the frameless but wanted a small frameless aquarium.Print twice for a total of 4 parts. Two fit on a 256x256x256 printer bed nicely.I may make this top without the need for the corners. But for now it will require 3/4" L bracket from Menards. You need two 3' sections to make four pieces. Cut each down to the height of the tank which about 11.5". Measure from each flat end and cut so you have a nice square edge on each piece for each corner. Lay each cut piece of aluminum on the corners and tape along the edges of each. Clean the exposed glass with rubbing alcohol. Using 'Goop' brand Marine contact adhesive, lay down a thin line of adhesive on the inside, both sides of the inside of the L bracket. Smooth out the adhesive and apply the bracket to the tank even with top and bottom using some pressure. Smooth out any excess glue (why the tape is there).Let dry.Trim the excess manufacturer glue on the inside of the tank corners, just the top portion and only about a half an inch down. Check fit of the four printed pieces. If happy with the fit, 'Goop', the inside edges of the printed part and assemble. Warning: there is no going back :D
