Aqueduct of Segovia
sketchfab
The aqueduct, animated in white, once ferried water from the Rio Frio river over a 15 km stretch before delivering it to Segovia. Its design adheres to the principles outlined by Roman architect and engineer Vitruvius in his 15 BCE treatise "De Architectura," penned for his patron Julius Caesar. At that time, an estimated 170 million people inhabited the globe.
