Got tired of filling 25 gallons a week using buckets. Created a filling hose for the aquarium that attaches to a 15/16" to 3/4" ght adapter o the kitchen sink... to that adapter there is a 3/4" female ght to 1/2 female npt swivel adapter attached to that adapter there is a 1/2" male npt 90º adapter that goes to 3/8" compression fitting on the end of the pex tubing... over at the aquarium there is a plastic ball valve a couple feel away from the tank so it can be turned off at the tank... After that is the snorkel fitting i made to hook over the edge of the tank... and a short piece of the tubing to get the water inlet to be down lower... The water inlet makes a nice arc of rain instead of blasting the substrate https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/comments/qxujmb/making_water_change_day_easier_12od_38_id_tubing/hlcsbn5/?context=3
