Aquarium Thermometer Mount

Aquarium Thermometer Mount

thingiverse

This is my ingenious design for a digital thermometer mount that reads the temperature of any aquarium you want. It's designed to be versatile and adaptable, allowing the wire and sensor to fall freely down to where you need to read the temperature. The sleek design fits thermometers like this one perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CKIF0PK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. You can find these affordable thermometers for just 1 or 2 euros on Amazon, AliExpress, Gearbest, and Banggood, making them a standard choice. The basic mount consists of two STL models: the Box to hold the display and the Clamp for mounting it on any vertical wall with a thickness of 4mm or more. If your display is loose, you can use the Supplement STL model to fill in the interior gaps and ensure a secure fit. I had to print both supplements because my thermometer arrived slightly damaged, but they worked perfectly. At the back, there's ample space to store extra wire, allowing you to control how many wires are visible. You can even attach the cables together using the same cable it brings. The clamp is removable and can be replaced with any other mount that fits the square hole at the bottom of the box (20 x 5 mm). If you have any doubts or concerns, please feel free to comment. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer: Geeetech i3 Pro X * Rafts: Not necessary * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2 * Infill: 10% * Notes: I used supports to achieve a smooth finish on the square hole, but if your printer can handle it, no supports are needed.
