I built a budget thermometer for outdoors. I grabbed this fish thermometer online from Banggood - https://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Digital-Fish-Aquarium-Water-LCD-Terrarium-Thermometer-p-12339.html. Added some spit and connected it to a Tesa Power strip; small but sturdy, there's now a sensor swaying in the wind. UPDATE: 28 Dec. 2014 - A Thermometerholder2b has been installed to shield the sensor from direct sunlight.
