Aquarium Sponge Filter Intake

This is a custom filter intake adapter to optimize the usage of a sponge filter on the intake of an aquarium filter such as a canister filter. The dimensions are designed to work with 1" PVC piping and a pond filter sponge. This item is easily scalable to fit other diameter fittings. I may upload custom scaled versions to fit other common filters upon request. The design allows water to flow up the channels, as well as the central column, maximizing the amount of water movement, and increasing the surfaces which water is drawn from along the sponge. All while reducing the potential of clogging because of the large dimensions of the grooves which are used for water transport.
