Aquarium Slotted Spoon
thingiverse
I've got a 10-liter nano tank on my workbench - fully stocked with aquatic life. Four minnows and a plethora of snails call it home, thriving in its cozy environment. The duckweed seems to multiply exponentially overnight, blanketing the surface. To manage this lush growth, I designed and printed a slotted spoon. This handy tool allows me to extract excess duckweed from the floating feeding rings that I strategically place in the tank. These rings provide essential light for my submerged plants, promoting healthy growth. Measuring approximately 160mm in length, the spoon is a convenient addition to my nano tank's maintenance routine. The Fusion 360 file used to design this innovative tool is included below for your reference.
