Laser cut and 3D printed Aquarium Reactor for use with charcoal, GFO, bio pellets and my favorite: bag of Chemi-Pure Elite.Scalable to any height of Acrylic tube: 3" OD 2 3/4" ID in this case the tubing was 4" long. I customed ordered the Acrylic tubing cut to length (very reasonable price) on Etsy at: https://www.etsy.com/listing/846157393/1-piece-3-od-x-2-34-id-clear-blue?click_key=cb8f8808879bcd92021322c29f0849b87bdbf619%3A846157393&click_sum=528370c9&ref=shop_home_active_27&frs=1&sts=1I laser cut out the below acrylic pieces (SVG files) and solvent welded them to the ends of the tube: The also include flow slices for inside the tube. The one with the lesser number of holes goes on the bottom and over the pump nozzle.I used a small piece of silicon tubing inside the bottom hole then wedged the pump nozzle into it, which works great.I use these $11 pumps and they work great. But any pump should do.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XYZZ2J7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The whole thing comes apart easily for cleaning, and the top unscrews so that you can swap out Chemi-Pure packets in seconds.I created this in PLA and have had good luck with PLA in my saltwater aquarium for more than a year now. I'm sure it would probably be better in PETG.
