Aquarium Planter with Two Part Lid
thingiverse
Plant pots for aquarium plants with a protective "lid" in two halves. We needed something that would protect the medium around the plants during tank cleaning. The lid of the planter is in two halves so you can put the plant in and then cover up the top, without having to try to feed leaves through a hole and damage the plant in the process. The lid halves are just a light friction fit - there's no glueing required (unless you want to). In case it's not obvious, you should print the lid STL twice to get the two halves. The "drum" of the planter is 6cm in diameter and 7cm tall (the walls and "floor" are 2mm thick, so take that into account). The lid adds another 5mm to the height. **PRINTING NOTES:** You will need to scale the STLs to 10x to print them as I messed up the units when I made the parts in Blender (and I was too lazy to fix it).
