I wanted to design an aquarium planter, drawing inspiration from people who convert their HOB filters into plant holders. Not having any HOB filters didn't deter me from harnessing the water filtering benefits of plants within my aquarium. I created this box to be hung inside, protecting roots and stems from being devoured by fish. This container can likely accommodate bio media on its bottom for added filtration capabilities. Although it may be slightly oversized and required a considerable amount of time to print, refining it could make it more practical. However, this was my first attempt at modeling anything, and it serves my purpose admirably. Given its size, this planter could also function as a fish hospital or resting area for any fish requiring temporary isolation.
