Aquarium Phosban Reactor 150, NPX Biopellet Diffuser
thingiverse
171022, Initial Release - This diffuser is designed for use with a Phosban Reactor 150 and NPX Biopellets. I started by modifying the Pipe Reducer (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2461538) in Tinkercad to add holes and feet. Time will tell how it performs. 171113, Rev 1 - The initial design worked alright but had a lot of bypassing on the outer diameter with the pellets in the center not getting enough agitation. I soon discovered that the inner diameter of the clear cylinder is larger than the screw cap, which is what I was measuring. I re-printed some designs and reduced the decline angle until I settled on the latest one called (Aquarium Reactor Diffuser (R7) - 171112). I also printed a few tight-gripping coupling tubes for the top baffle and the cap to make assembly easier and prevent water pressure loss. So far, it's working great with the pellets being circulated from the center. I'll post a video of it in action at a later time.
