Here is how I made a simple overflow box for use with an aquarium sump that turned out just right. I even reduced it to 75% of its original size in height, making it a perfect fit around my turtle tank's 1" hose barbed bulkhead opening. It keeps those pesky food pellets and greens from getting sucked down the drain.
