Aquarium multidirectional filter nozzle
thingiverse
I'm owner of an external aquarium filter JBL which can filter 900 liters per hour. The output from the original nozzle was too strong so I decided to create a multidirectional filter nozzle output to let water output spread more evenly and avoid whirlpool in my 100-liter aquarium. You can connect this nozzle to a standard 18mm connector which has an inner diameter of 14.4mm from JBL, I'm not sure about Eheim standards but if you'd like to modify this part feel free. Attaching also live *.part from SolidWorks. Nozzle works great, exactly as I expected, no need for any support to print this file; just download it as is and slice it in a slicer. STL file is attached too, with an infill of 5% printed on Prusa MK3s printer using PETG material, taking 4.5 hours to print. This filter nozzle can also be attached to internal filters. The total length of this part is 218mm. Adding: nozzle holder for sucker for fish tank, infill 15% (see pictures for slicer settings). This part was made in CATIA V5.
