Disregard the salt buildup on the rim of my aquarium!Cover the gap between the aquarium lid and the rear lip of the aquarium. Scale as needed and print however many are needed. Included models are:Spacer - Filler strip with no holesSpacer, filter cutout - Filler strip with a corner removed to allow filter intake and return (for canister filters). The rounded cutout is 20mm wide, 45mm deep. Print x2 and place together. Spacer, accessory cutout - Filler strip with a smaller corner cutout for passthrough of smaller accessories like air tubes, heater cords, thermometer cords, etc. Can be used alone or paired for a larger gap as needed. The rounded cutout is 12mm wide, 20mm deep. Printing: Print on end, in the orientation provided. Be mindful of your adhesion and possible nozzle crashes due to cooling or overextrusion. You can add a brim if needed, I did not and had no trouble printing enough of these to cover my 4ft aquarium without any failures. Any typical settings should work fine, I opted for 0.3mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 2 top layers, 4 bottom layers, and 5% infill. This allowed them to be sturdy, but also allowed a bit of flex for snug fitting around the glass lid. Size:The gap for the aquarium lid is 3.5mm wide, but as designed it can flex a bit - my aquarium lid is 4mm thick, and fits snugly, but can still be removed with moderate effort. Spacer is 95.5 mm long total, with the glass slot being 24.75mm deep. As is, with the lid glass inserted all the way into the spacer, the spacer will cover a gap of 70.75mm. This can be extended by probably ~15mm by reducing how far into the spacer the glass is inserted. For all other size needs, just scale the model accordingly.
