<p>This came to mind after my shrimp jumped out of my tank, I have designed a simple grid to stop that from happening. </p><p>The model is just solid shapes and the grid was made using Cura slicing software.</p><p>You can cut out parts of the grid to adapt the cover for cables and air hoses.</p><p><strong>If you don't want to make changes to the model there is a G-code file available that is ready to print.</strong></p><p><strong>Please check dimensions before printing!</strong></p><p>This is how to set up the model in cura:</p><p>Import and position the “Aquarium lid” and the “Aquarium lid support”<img class="image_resized" style="width:73.45%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/308568/rich_content/6a17d091-3208-4463-9258-95ea903ac8cc/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%220f7a42a2-21bc-40f5-9210-6700a6920eab%22%2C%22w%22%3A3840%2C%22h%22%3A2067%7D"></p><p>Select the “Aquarium lid support” and adjust the settings as shown in the screenshot<img class="image_resized" style="width:73.81%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/308568/rich_content/59107a80-a1e4-4219-8253-39e74fc648bb/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%228b2aec3b-d9af-4781-8717-c37016e94a52%22%2C%22w%22%3A3840%2C%22h%22%3A2066%7D"></p><p>Now you can play around with the print settings, select <strong>Grid</strong> infill and <strong>0 top and bottom</strong> layers. You can change the infill percentage to adjust the size of the grid and the wall line count to adjust the strength, I have mine set to 4.<img class="image_resized" style="width:72.8%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/308568/rich_content/116b4967-c08b-4822-8423-3ebdcfee172d/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22408e8f28-57af-4121-ba31-a789cb9f44e0%22%2C%22w%22%3A3840%2C%22h%22%3A2062%7D"></p><p>Then position the “lid support” so it overlaps with the thin part of the model.<img class="image_resized" style="width:71.92%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/308568/rich_content/2ee67163-359c-4b93-9199-6763e3a9eea7/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%227427d190-4bde-413e-99e2-26a35f6877a8%22%2C%22w%22%3A3840%2C%22h%22%3A2066%7D"></p><p>Press slice and it should look like this. Print this and a second one mirrored to have a full set.</p>
