Aquarium lamp holder

Aquarium lamp holder

I grabbed a daylight/UV lamp for my aquarium, but the tank features a lip for a hood, and the lamp clamp was designed for a tank without a lip, so I fashioned this adapter to hold my light in place, and it has been illuminating my tank for roughly six months now. I also crafted it from glow-in-the-dark PLA because it looks fantastic under UV lighting. Instructions: I measured out the dimensions of the tank and built it to sit securely on the lip, then added holes for M5 x 16mm screws to keep it firmly attached to the tank. It ended up being a perfect fit so I didn't need the screws after all, but I threw them in just to be safe. I also included a slot so the power cord wouldn't get obstructed.
