A Compact Water Filter for Tubing Systems. Its primary function is to prevent small fish from entering tubing when water is pumped out and replaced. This filter also establishes a minimum water level of 10 cm, ensuring efficient operation in tubing systems with an inner diameter of 13 mm. The filter features holes with a diameter of 1 mm, strategically placed to allow sufficient water flow while preventing small objects from passing through. Adding more holes would likely compromise the filter's structural integrity without providing substantial benefits, based on my design assessment. Design Overview Utilizing OpenSCAD software, I designed this filter to meet specific requirements for tubing systems.
