I designed this solution to eliminate the disturbance caused by water dripping into the second filter sock on my Waterbox 100.3 aquarium. It performs exceptionally well. I fabricated the part with a high infill density to guarantee it wouldn't float, but considering its thin profile of only 2mm thickness, that precaution may not be entirely necessary. I printed it in PETG as it is food-safe and I had learned that PLA can degrade when exposed to water for an extended period.
