Aquarium cover spacer (parametric OpenSCAD)
cults3d
On hot summer days, water temperature often surges despite the heater being turned off. One effective solution is to lift the cover, allowing water to evaporate freely. As the fluid evaporates, its temperature drops, keeping the remaining water within a healthy range. I crafted these spacers to position the cover at just the right distance, maximizing evaporation without letting fish escape. The OpenSCAD source file is included, enabling users to adjust the height and glass thickness as needed.
