This allows you to connect two different Aquarium Co-op Easy Plant LED Lights together to span longer tanks. I have a 125 gallon aquarium, which is 6ft long. Aquarium Co-op doesn't sell a plant light long enough for that. The ends of the lights are designed to sit on the edge of the aquarium, not the cross supports, so this little box will let them sit more securely. I was originally going to build a hood, so I bought two different length lights and suspend them via cables (they would never be visible), but decided afterwards to leave the top open, but now have asymmetrical lights.
