Due to their straight edges, these cubes can be packed more densely than spherical alternatives sold by retailers, resulting in enhanced filtration capabilities. To maximize performance, I suggest utilizing them in trickle filter systems, where fluidizing the 3D printed parts would minimize plastic particles circulating through pumps. Additionally, fishing line can be threaded through the holes of each cube to create submerged media within the tank, offering a versatile and effective solution for aquatic environments. Each individual cube boasts an impressive 18.51 square inches of surface area, ensuring optimal bacterial growth and efficient water circulation.
