Aquarium Air Pump Holder
thingiverse
If you've ever used an air pump to get oxygen into your fish tank, you know that these things shake around a lot and make a really loud noise. This particular design lets the pump hang from the top of an aquarium cabinet using a rubber band that helps absorb its movements and makes it virtually silent. No more messing with folding towels or scraps of foam underneath the pump to muffle its sound. Instructions Print out the file (it fits inside a 160mm square print bed space) and put it together using 3mm screws; self-tapping screws work particularly well. Attach one end of the rubber band to the top of your cabinet and then secure it to the frame. Once you have the pump in place on the frame, that's it. This design was printed in ABS plastic with a moderate infill of 15%. It took approximately 45 minutes to print out.
