Reduce energy consumption in your aquaponic or hydroponic setup by utilizing your existing water pump to inject air as well! This clever idea was inspired by the ingenious Mazzei design, commonly employed in industrial water supply refineries. I've found that this setup effectively adds a significant amount of oxygen, and I utilize clear hoses which become clogged with debris but are noticeably filled with tiny bubbles after passing through the aerator. When the aerator is occluded, these bubbles dissipate instantly. This versatile system can also be used to inject specific nutrients when paired with your metering system.
