I chose Aquaman for this assignment because I had just watched the movie and was still under its spell. At that moment, he seemed like the perfect character to bring to life - a full face, body, arms, legs, and two props that reflected his personality. My model was my own unique interpretation of Aquaman, with Poseidon's trident serving as one of his trusty sidekicks. The belt, which I had carefully designed myself, completed the look. However, I soon realized that creating a character with such detail would be no easy task. As I struggled to master Maya, I found myself frustrated by my lack of experience and the fact that I didn't have a clear reference image to guide me. This made it even more challenging when I had to UV map the model afterwards - every minute detail took longer than expected to perfect. Despite the setbacks, I was determined to see this project through. And in the end, I managed to create a character that may not have been a precise replica of Aquaman, but one that still captured his essence.
