Aquacopter Lid
thingiverse
The Aquacopter Quadcopter's lid design includes eye holes for the barometer sensor, covered with Gore Tex Repair kit for water protection. The eyerims are secured with silicone on top of the Gore-Tex. Print the lid with support structures, taking approximately 8 hours on a Makerbot Replicator 2. A hole is provided at the back for a Deans connector and a jumper plug for easier battery connection. The shelves, excluding the far left piece, are printed and assembled using 12 m3x8 button head screws. The GPS, receiver, Naza, and Naza VU unit fit tightly within the compartment. Consider repositioning the Deans connector hole to the side for better wire management, particularly for the bulky GPS wire.
