Our proposed atmospheric moisture trap can be installed in plantations like vineyards, taking advantage of air streams between vines while the plants' shade helps cool the collector for effective water condensation on "artificial leaves." The device features a high-strength polypropylene base made from recycled materials and PET sheet leaves with hydrophilic/hydrophobic nanoparticles. Manufacturing involves cutting and rolling leaves, and it requires minimal maintenance, reducing labor costs and energy usage. It's ideal for vineyards as it avoids drip irrigation system installation, doesn't interfere with growth or harvesting, has a 0.4m² effective area per module (producing 1.2L/hour), and is easy to transport or store.
