This is a 2 part model. One part is to mount to the wall using double sided tape or a screw head. This part also had the sensor taped to it. the other part is the casing that slides over the wall mount. With this design it is almost impossible to have water touch your aqara temperature sensor. While holes on the side and bottom procide space to let air trough so that the sensor detects the right temperature and humidity without getting wet.
