<p>Although I have OctoPrint, I don't use a webcam connected to it to monitor prints remotely. Instead, I use a HomeKit solution with the Aqara G2H (or Pro) hub to manage a few printing needs. This is a shelf that I use to monitor the print bed for problems. I also have a HomeKit plug attached to the printer that I can control, should a print go haywire. Although you can use an OctoPrint plugin for remote webcam access, that does pose a security issue. HomeKit webcams are more secure in that regard.. although they won't provide timelapses.</p><p>I've used my own DryBoxes and although they have the cheap LCD humidy displays, those are quite inaccurate. For remote monitoring, I also use the Aqara Temp/Pressure/Humidy sensors that connect to HomeKit thru the G2H hub.&nbsp;</p><p>If a humidy sensor gets too high, it is possible to set a shortcut where it will send a notification.&nbsp;</p>
