Aqara FP2 Corner Wall Bracket
thingiverse
Having experimented with various designs I found online, I eventually decided to create the ultimate corner-mounting bracket for the Aqara FP2 presence sensor. Through a series of trials and adjustments, I perfected the design to achieve a snug, secure fit without the need for screws. The bracket features easily accessible screw holes for wall mounting, which are discreetly concealed by the FP2, ensuring a sleek, unobtrusive appearance. The design prints efficiently without needing supports or rafts and is sufficiently durable with just a 20% infill. The design includes a flat back, which not only facilitates printing without the need for supports but also accommodates the passage of cables behind the bracket. This feature adds to the versatility of the bracket, allowing it to adapt to corners that may not be precisely 90 degrees, ensuring a broader range of fitting options and greater ease of installation. The v2 version offers a slightly faster printing due to its reduced height (-2.5mm). This allows for more extension of the FP2, facilitating easier removal and rotation in the bracket. Additionally, it provides extra space for the USB cable in every orientation. When the FP2 is not inserted, the flat top design contributes to a cleaner and more streamlined appearance. The v3 is identical to v2, but with a slightly smaller opening to ensure a perfect fit on high-quality printers. The v4 design features a more rounded shape that fully conceals the mount while reducing filament usage without compromising structural integrity. It's my favorite version so far—visually appealing and easy to print.
