A typical knob for appliances features in a STL file with a diameter of approximately 1 3/4 inches, designed to fit onto a 1/4 inch flattened shaft. Additionally, an OpenSCAD source file is available for customization purposes. For usage, simply print and attach it as required. To incorporate a metal insert, consider increasing the shaft radius slightly.
