AppleBarrel Lid Adapter (for Filament Dry-box)

I wanted to make a Filament Dry-box, and I just so happened to have some empty apple-barrel acrylic paint tubes laying around. The hole is just large enough for 1.75mm filament to go through. So, I just designed this quickly in fusion360. Took me maybe 20 minuets to design (only second time using coils in fusion360)

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

10

Filament: Amazon Basics PLA Black

Notes:

I used the Cure 'normal' setting, since the 'Fast' setting would only save me 2 minuets, and the print is only 30 minuets overall. No need for supports

Post-Printing =============
I added a craft foam 'washer' (I just cut it out of craft foam with a pair of old scissors) to keep the design from putting too much pressure on the edge of the acrylic container. It is not for moisture, but cracking prevention

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
