Apple Watch Charging Stand
thingiverse
This is an Apple Watch Charging Stand/Cradle, unlike any other. The underside where the watch sits is parallel with where it actually sits, making for a cleaner design. The wire runs all the way down one side of the stand and to the bottom before emerging from the middle. I think this thing looks great in wood. That's what I'm showing above. I've uploaded STL and SLDPRT files so you can use them or modify them if you want to. A warning: this design has not actually been 3D printed yet, so there might be tiny adjustments needed once it's made. To double-check dimensions, my calipers got a workout! My print is still waiting in the queue, and I'll get to work on pictures as soon as it pops out of the printer. I originally posted this back on May 19th, 2015. After my print was finally done, it turned out pretty good, though some spots needed sanding. Since my student version of SolidWorks expired, I won't be updating the STL file right away - but when I do get access again, through school or something, a few more features will make their way into that updated model! Instructions Just print this charging stand and drop the charger in its circle, run the cord down one side, under the bottom and to the charging brick. Easy peasy no need for assembly required
