Apple Watch 5/6 44mm Charging Dock - Classic Mac

This is a remix for Apple Watch 5/6 44mm since the original didn't fit my Apple Watch 6. I haven't tested it with the 5 but my understanding is they are the same dimensions. I made it work by importing the 123dx file into Fusion 360 and scaling the outside shell slightly wider. Then I grafted on some wings to the bottom and sides of the inside piece. I'm a bit of a newb at Fusion but I've printed four of these now and they look good. I exported as an OBJ file and included that in case others want to work with the model further. One thing I found to be important is the addition of four self-stick rubber feet to the bottom to prevent the thing from sliding all over the table as you put the watch in and out. You can find packs of these things on Amazon. Printing: I used supports (and they are pretty significant time and material addition to this piece). Some suggested printing the shell piece upside down. In my experience, that made the top very rough looking as there are still supports needed but just much less material. Since the top is so visible, I wanted to avoid all the sanding and filing. Some of you 3D printing/fusion wizards will find a way - you always do.
