Introducing Version 2.0 of this innovative geodesic dome connector for pipes or poles! This unique connector pivots around a ring between a minimum and maximum angle, limiting pole movement to precise angles used in various geodesic dome designs from 1V to 8V. To create the connector, use the provided SCAD file to set parameters for a pentagon and hexagon, plus specify outside and inside diameters of your pipe, pipe tolerance, connector number, and minimum and maximum flex angles. You'll also need one or two vitamins (printable), two cotter pins per pole, a steel ring (printable but not included), and EMT conduit tubing with holes for the cotter pins or rope for securing poles if needed. Feedback from successful prints is appreciated, as the designer is working on figuring out how to place the center ring in all connectors. V1.01 includes nuts and bolts in the SCAD file.
